Renowned Online Scam Hub Associated with Asian Underworld Raided
The Burmese military claims it has captured a key the most notorious deception complexes on the frontier with Thailand, as it reclaims important land previously lost in the continuing domestic strife.
KK Park, located south of the boundary community of Myawaddy, has been associated with internet scams, financial crime and forced labor for the previous five-year period.

Investigators suspect there are relationships between Huanya and a influential China-based mafia individual Wan Kuok Koi, more commonly called Broken Tooth, who has subsequently funded other fraud hubs on the frontier.
The facility expanded swiftly, and is readily noticeable from the Thailand territory of the border.
Those who managed to escape from it describe a violent environment established on the thousands, several from African countries, who were detained there, made to labor excessive periods, with mistreatment and assaults applied on those who were unable to achieve objectives.
Latest Events and Statements
A declaration by the regime's information ministry claimed its personnel had "liberated" KK Park, liberating more than 2,000 employees there and taking possession of 30 of Elon Musk's Starlink satellite terminals – widely utilized by scam facilities on the border frontier for digital activities.
The announcement blamed what it described as the "extremist" KNU and local resistance groups, which have been combating the military since the coup, for illegally occupying the area.
The military's assertion to have dismantled this notorious fraud centre is probably targeted toward its main patron, China.
Beijing has been pressuring the junta and the Thailand administration to take additional measures to end the unlawful businesses managed by Chinese syndicates on their common boundary.

But KK Park is only one of a minimum of 30 similar facilities situated on the boundary.
Most of these are under the control of ethnic Karen armed units allied to the junta, and many are presently active, with tens of thousands managing scams inside them.
